Job Description:

Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated CDL Driver- Environmental Field Chemist who is passionate about environmental health and safety. As part of our dynamic team, you will be tasked with transporting and managing hazardous materials while adhering to strict environmental health and safety guidelines. Your role will directly contribute to and support our mission of protecting the environment by ensuring the safe disposal and treatment of hazardous waste across North America. Safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste while adhering to company guidelines and federal regulations. Perform chemical packing and categorization at various customer sites, including lab packs and bulk loads. Conduct waste stream identification and segregation according to environmental and safety regulations. Prepare manifests and maintain detailed transportation and operation records. Respond to emergency spills and participate in cleanup operations. Collaborate with field service crews during project executions and site cleanup. Uphold standards of safety and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Strong knowledge of DOT and EPA regulations regarding hazardous material handling. Ability to perform physical tasks and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds. Efficient organizational skills to handle and record details accurately. Capability to operate a commercial motor vehicle and equipment safely. Proficient in using technological tools and software for record-keeping. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) Certification.
