At Xylem, you will have the opportunity to solve water by participating in our paid Volunteer Program, Xylem Watermark !THE ROLE : The Sales Order Bookkeeper will be responsible for efficiently processing and maintaining sales orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards . In this role, the incumbent will also demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting practices and bookkeeping principles. This role requires effective communication with sales representatives, customers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction .         • Additional duties and responsibilities may be required based on organization al needs. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
          • Bachelor's degree in A ccounting , F inance, B usiness A dministration (or equivalent work experience).
            • Minimum of 3 - 5 years proven experience in sales order processing, bookkeeping, or a similar role is desired.
            • Bookkeeping and or accounting certification as a plus.
            • English l anguage proficiency at the full professional level (ILR level 4).
            • ERP and Accounting software proficiency
            • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
            • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
              • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
              • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced office environment.
              • Familiarity with inventory management concepts is a plus. DAY IN THE LIFE : In this role, the working environment is office-based during standard hours of 8am-5pm, working with other team members and the physical demands may include but not limited to regularly sitting, standing at an office desk , using computer, answering/making phone calls and lifting 25 lbs . (occasionally). SALARY : The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 plus bonus . Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range .
