Description:Aerotek is looking for CDL Class A drivers in Middletown, CT to join their team. This Driver will be responsible for driving a truck greater than 3 tons to deliver, relocate, and return mobile trailer units to and from customer locations. Units consist of large, pre-fabricated construction trailers. The role is 25% driving and 75% "working" which consists of setting up of trailers, knocking them down, installing etc. Duties:

• Set-ups and knockdowns of units, which includes blocking, leveling, and anchoring of the trailers during delivery, removal of blocking material and anchoring during pickup
• Assists with the loading and unloading of ramps, steps, pads and piers
• Maintain truck log according to DOT state and federal regulations
• Maintains all paperwork, ensuring customer signatures are collected, and daily logs are complete and handed to the dispatcherAdditional Skills & Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 21 years old
  • Must have valid CDL and DOT medical card
  • Must have wide load experience
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and able to climb a 25ft ladder
  • Must be able to use hand and power tools
