Come join in on our purpose - We put people to work, we protect American freedoms, and we help our customers power and improve the world! https://aollc.biz We're looking for a full-time, staff Material Planning Supervisor to join our American Ordnance team located in Middletown, IA. As the Material Planning Supervisor, here's the work you'll do:

  • Ensure inventory levels & assets are managed to support site business model, program inventory levels, days on hand, inventory turns by utilizing best practices in planning, scheduling & data interchange.
  • Maintain a comprehensive planning strategy for parts as related to the business unit through issuance/monitoring of purchase requisitions/orders in accordance with supply base lead times to meet company objectives.
  • Serve as Material Control POC(Point Of Contact) and SME(Subject Matter Expert) for assigned business unit. Understand regulatory requirements with respect to DoD, ITAR, ATF and HSE.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers, and various levels of management through clear and concise communication. As assigned, report status in relation to KPI's(Key Performance Indicators).
  • Accountable for implementation of continuous improvement activities.
  • Mentor direct reports by in accordance with overall Supply Chain goals and objectives. This role is for you if you have these skills:
    • Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
    • Knowledge of all aspects of demand planning, production planning, production scheduling, forecasting, inventory management and control.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, SAP
    • Strong organizational skills and capability of prioritizing multiple tasks to resolve problems in a team environment. And if you have these qualifications:
      • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
      • 5 years Production Operations, Materials Planning & Procurement.
      • Valid driver's license
      • Government Secret Clearance may be required
