Are you ready to go beyond?Summary:Work directly for the Facilities & Services maintenance organization, as an Electrical Supervisor.Responsibilities:Electrical supervisor maintaining the electrical distribution system throughout the campus, trouble shooting, planning maintenance events, timely PM execution, 70E-Arc Flash upgrades, repairs, system capital upgrades, planning and execution of projects. Work with our hourly skilled trades, and contractors to assure that plant reliability, customer requirements, safety and environmental requirements are met.Focus on electrical systems from 120/208V through 115kV and power distribution maintenance and reliability.Have knowledge of operations and maintenance tasks for hoists, carpentry, vehicle maintenance, steam distribution, pipefitting, sheet metal, HVAC, waste treatment and factory rearrangements.A strong focus on predictive and preventive maintenance on our electrical systems and power distribution throughout the campus.Provide technical oversight of substation protection and control, relay coordination and programming.Ability to write high voltage switching instructions, contractor work scopes, request vendor quotations, evaluate quotations, material purchase request forms, and vendor quotation evaluation for substation equipment including high voltage circuit breakers, switchgear, disconnects, high voltage power transformers, high voltage cable, and protection and control systems.Maintain accurate, single line drawings and schematics, plan and elevation drawings, general substation arrangement and layout, relay protection and control requirements, and layouts for high voltage bus, cable, high voltage equipment, conduit, cable, and wiring, grounding, switchgear.Assist managing business financials including forecasts, projections, job costs and estimates for capital improvement projects.Originate plans and develop strategies for power systems to ensure electrical reliability and safety in the most cost-effective manner.Knowledge of current injection, Hi-pot, capacitance discharge, contact resistance, Megger, TTR, Doble, and other methods of cable and equipment testing.Working knowledge of electrical drawings, sketches, and prints, underground duct banks, trenching, manholes and vaults for collection systems, underground vaults.You must be open to occasionally work extended hours, varied shifts and respond to off shift telephone inquiries as required by workload, plant conditions, or emergencies.Participate in our Just Stop and Safety Start programs, and implementation of shop-specific safety training programs, and ensure compliance with OSHA job safety requirement. Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations, building codes and environmental requirements.Schedule and complete equipment maintenance work requests.Assist in reviewing operational trend data daily, predictive maintenance analysis and other pertinent plant data to enhance maintenance and planned maintenance activities.Basic QualificationsMinimum 8-10 years in the electrical power distribution in an industrial / factory settingSolid experience in electrical distribution systems including substations and switchgear. (115KV,13.8KV,4160,480V.)Must be familiar with the installation, operation and maintenance of high voltage electrical distribution equipment, including transformers, switches, underground cabling systems, protective relays, metering and substation equipment.Must have a strong ability to troubleshoot electrical problems in a manufacturing environment.Facility management experience and a strong knowledge of various mechanical and electrical building systems.Knowledge of OSHA standards as they pertain to manufacturing, distribution facilities maintenance, and construction, including Lock-out/Tag-out and confined spaces.Must be a U.S. citizen due to government contracts.Preferred QualificationsProficient in Microsoft Office; exposure to SAP, maintenance management software or project management software is preferred.What is my role type?In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work.
