Operates within the statutory and regulatory framework established by State of Connecticut Office of Emergency Medical Services at the E.M.T. certification level.Minimum Qualifications:Have the knowledge and skills necessary to assess health needs of patients and deliver emergent care in a safe manner.Must be able to safely transfer and move patients utilizing hospital approved transportation equipment. Have good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.Must maintain at all times: State of Connecticut EMT-B certification and be in good standing with CT DPH and any current or prior hospital medical control; BLS CPR certificate; valid State of Connecticut driver's license.Must be 21+ years of age.
