Position: Counselor Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time Location: Warwick Street, Brooklyn (Pitkin) Salary: $41,600 Days/Hours: Monday - Friday; 12am - 8am Description: Concern Housing is seeking a Weekday Overnight Counselor to be primarily responsible for the overall monitoring and safety of tenants at the site. Duties and Responsibilities: --- Read log for updates, instructions, and assignments. --- Filing, organizing charts, office cleaning, photocopying, etc, as assigned and/or as needed. --- Provide brief counseling as needed, redirect to core staff as appropriate. --- Crisis intervention as needed. --- Weekly medication counts, check for accuracy and corresponding documentation. --- Perform hourly walk-through of site during shift. --- Participate in monitoring of morning meds as needed. --- Prompt clients needing to wake early. --- Attend monthly staff meetings. --- Attend agency forums. --- Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings. Salary: $41,600 Position Requirements: Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent along with at least two years of experience in a similar role.
