Position Summary:
To process ambulatory patients efficiently for initial injuries and illnesses, physical exams, testing and follow-up visits. Will assist other members of the clinical team in providing care to the patients. Duties will include coverage of the front desk, answering telephones, scheduling of appointments and processing of patients. Is an effective team worker who demonstrates appropriate interaction with all staff members.Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in an Occupational Medicine or Primary Care office.
• Medical Assistant certification is highly preferred.
• Effective communication skills, phlebotomy competency, and BLS required. Experience in performing EKGs, urinalysis, and vision testing is highly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette.
• Computer literate with electronic health records. Preferred Skills:
  • Medical Assisting Certification - Phlebotomy - Ambulatory office based physician practice experience, preferably in Primary Care or Occupational Medicine.
  • Electronic Health record Knowledge/use.
  • Diagnostic testing relevant to Primary Care or Occupational Medicine.Comprehensive Benefits Offered:
