What you'll do:

Channel your expertise as an Accounts Receivable Specialist and allow your keen attention to detail shine as you take on this important role. In this role, you will resolve insurance denials and aged receivables primarily related to credentialing issues. In addition to working in the Revenue Cycle Department, you will also partner with our Contracting & Credentialing Team and our Software Support Team.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Research/rectify third party denials/edits, requests for information and other related correspondence
  • Identify and analyze open claims
  • Identify and correct billing errors
  • Re-submit claims to insurance carriers
  • The Accounts Receivable Representative must have a thorough knowledge of government, WC, Auto accident, commercial, HMO, PPO and other types of insurance billing guidelines, demonstrate effective judgment when processing all claims
  • Monitor past due accounts for payment
  • Contribute to a cohesive departmental unit

      Qualifications

      Who you are:

      Qualifications:
      • 3 Years' experience working in healthcare accounts receivable department resolving rejections and denials. Required.
      • Multiple systems: PM Mod-med, Trisetto, Remedics. Experience preferred, not required.
      • Self-starter, team player, analytic & problem-solving ability
      • Ability to utilize the technology available including the use and navigation of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Internet functions
      • Good communication skills are required.
      • Orthopedic Experience preferred, not required.
      • Mod-Med Experience preferred, not required.
      • High degree of initiative, professionalism, and independent judgment
