We Are Hiring Manager, Critical products - Full-time Middletown, CT What You Will Do This role falls within The Resource Group's Strategic Sourcing Solution. The Strategic Sourcing Solution is a discipline-based model that uses collaboration to deliver savings and end-user satisfaction. Instead of contracting for resources and supplies end-users may or may not want to use, communities within The Resource Group's Strategic Sourcing Solution take a different approach and focus contracting for the supplies and services that meet the criteria determined by caregivers. The Critical Products Manager role is perfect for clinicians looking to move into the business side of healthcare. Critical Products Managers are part of The Resource Group Field Teams (Value Realization Teams) and as such you will work alongside your local Resource Group team and clinical contacts to ensure goals and end-user needs are being met. As a Critical Products Manager, you will produce solutions for the myriad challenges that occur in hospitals. You will implement contract strategies through your honed communication, planning, coordination, and engagement skills to maximize value and enhance clinician satisfaction. Key to your success will be developing local clinical relationships to influence contract compliance, coordinate in-servicing, and address any end-user concerns or questions. Responsibilities Develop relationships with local clinical staff and leadership to aid in implementation of new contracted products and services Lead all product conversions to new contracted items, this includes but is not limited to clinical engagement, education, and serving as the subject matter experts for new products Proactively identify and implement local product savings opportunities Escalate contracted product and service issues as needed Lead local Decision Teams to determine any local products (specialty) needs Coordinate local product needs with your local Operations counterparts Aid in the support of product backorder and recall management, local savings opportunities, and reprocessing management Understand and enforce the Vendor Access Policy(ies) Work with National Training Coordinator to conduct new product trials, training, and introduction of new critical supplies and services with staff and physicians What You Will Need Education: High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required. Work Experience: 3 years of experience required. 5 years of experience preferred. 1 year of leadership or management experience preferred. Additional Preferences Bachelor's degree HIGHLY preferred.
