Job Description:
Fidelity Investments, a global leader in financial services, is
seeking a Principal Rust Engineer, Tech Lead to enhance our
information security and technology platforms. This role is vital
in leading the development and security of our state-of-the-art
software solutions using Rust, aiming to protect and manage
extensive financial assets securely. You will work closely with our
product and cybersecurity teams to design, implement, and lead
high-performing software projects that align with our strategic
goals. Design, develop, and implement software projects using Rust.
Lead, mentor, and review the work of other developers and related
teams. Collaborate with cybersecurity professionals to ensure the
security integrity of applications. Optimize existing software for
improved efficiency and performance. Participate in strategic
planning with senior management to align technology projects with
business goals. Ensure compliance with industry standards and
regulations related to financial software and data security.
Advanced proficiency in Rust programming. Experience in leading
development projects and teams. Strong understanding of
cybersecurity principles applicable to software development.
Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into
unified systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to
detail. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Certifications in Rust programming (if available).
Relevant cybersecurity certifications, such as CISSP or CompTIA
Security.
