anotherDepartment Overview:The FICC Technology team is responsible
for the delivery of technical solutions across the Fixed Income,
Foreign Exchange and Commodities (FICC) markets covering all areas
of the trading operation from Sales, Trading, Operations, Risk and
others. The team is over 150+ people with developers, analysts,
testers and project managers in Toronto, New York, Dublin, London
and Singapore.Job Role/Responsibilities:
- Lead the FX Post-Trade team across Toronto, New York and
London
- Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders
across Ops, Trading, and Technology
- Work closely with Front Office & Operations stakeholders to
develop a strategic roadmap for the continued use and development
(including upgrade) of the platform
- Responsible for hiring and investing in the development team to
position for success
- Manage the pipeline of development asks. Be able to negotiate,
prioritize and manage stakeholder expectations
- Partner with the Support team to ensure they have the necessary
skills and expertise
- Build visibility through delivery with the senior TD Securities
Technology leadership teamJob Requirements:
- 10-15 years of experience working with Financial Services
preferably in a Front Office or Operations facing role
- Knowledge and expertise of running Book of Record (BOR)
development teams either around Murex, Calypso or other BOR
technologies
- Strong communicator with ability to build durable working
relationships with key stakeholders and members of technology
- Demonstrate sound planning and execution abilities. Prior
experience of implementing large scale BOR modernization/upgrade
projects in the past
- Strong technical experience working as a developer in prior
roles or indeed continuing to be active in development or other.
Experience of delivering solutions either on or around the BOR
infrastructure
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced trading floor
environment
- Knowledge of Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and/or Commodities
markets. Demonstrate understanding of what demands each of these
markets place on technologyEducation & Experience:
