PA Orthopedic Surgery opening in Albany, NYFull-time; PermanentSeeking BC/BEExperience Required Overview: Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (or four 10-hour days) No mandatory call required, but moonlighting shifts are available after 6-12 months of training. Shift differential for evening, nights, weekends and holidays Potential for cross-coverage across SPHP after training, be credentialed for multiple local sites within SPHP. Responsible for Pre/Post OP pt orders, Floor rounding and inpatient hospital management ED 1st call for Ortho cases Evaluate and manage fractures, dislocations, and other Ortho emergency cases Interpret X-rays and CT scans and communicate finding with Ortho attending's Perform H+P exams as required Order and interpret appropriate labs and tests Evaluate all inpatient Ortho consults 1st and 2nd assist in the OR Mix of Spine, upper extremities, sports medicine and total joints Position Offers: 15k Bonus (5k Starting, 5k Retention, 5k Relocation if live outside 50 miles of SPHP) Compensation: $130,377-$149,934 The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
