Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system combining a

applications for the position of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in
our Multispecialty department. This role is geared towards
providing comprehensive nursing care across various disciplines,

discover. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients
in various specialty areas. Assist in the implementation of
treatment plans across multiple specialties such as pediatrics,
geriatrics, and acute care. Monitor patient health status and
respond to their needs with accuracy and professionalism. Document
patient care services by charting in patient and department
records. Educate patients and their families by explaining
procedures and medications. Maintain a collaborative team
environment with other health care professionals. Ensure compliance
with hospital policies and the highest standards of safety and
infection control. Strong practical nursing skills across various
medical disciplines. Excellent patient management and interpersonal
skills. Capability to handle stressful situations professionally.
Proficiency in medical software and patient care documentation.
Valid State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Basic Life
Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
is preferred but not required.
