Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - General/Other Location: Brattleboro, VT Employer: Curative Pay: $375 to $415 per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Position LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified General Surgery MD in Brattleboro, Vermont, 05301! General Surgery Locums - Vermont - No Flights Join a dynamic surgical team in Vermont, specializing in comprehensive care near major transport links. Highlights Work alongside a collaborative team in a supportive community hospital. Engage in a mix of surgical cases with a low average of 1-3 cases per day. Call coverage is minimal with a 1:4 ratio. Credentialing is thorough, with support along the 60-120 day timeframe. Practice Setting Level 3 trauma designation with a full complement of OR staff, including CRNAs. 3 operating rooms plus a procedure room available on-site. Team includes 2 general surgeons plus a new hire. Patient demographics include adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Cases and Procedures Perform general surgical cases, laparoscopic surgeries, and vascular procedures. Additional pediatric procedures for those qualified. Includes chest wall/pleural and GI endoscopy procedures. Schedule Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Flexible scheduling with weekend shifts to be determined. Requirements Board Certified/Eligible in General Surgery. Active Vermont Medical License required. DEA and CPR certifications necessary before starting.
