Job Description Job Description Ophthalmologist - Bronx, NY (1583) Paid Time Off Retirement Savings Visa Sponsorship opportunities Malpractice insurance coverage Minimum of 5-10 years of clinical experience in Ophthalmology Impact Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking an Ophthalmologist to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in Bronx, New York Responsibilities Diagnosis and Treatment: Conducting comprehensive eye exams to assess vision and identify eye diseases and conditions. Diagnosing and treating various eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and infections. Prescribing corrective lenses (eyeglasses and contact lenses). Performing minor and major eye surgeries, such as cataract removal, LASIK, and other procedures. Managing chronic eye conditions and prescribing appropriate medications. Patient Care and Education: Educating patients about eye health, preventive measures, and proper eye care practices. Providing guidance on managing eye conditions and promoting healthy vision. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Surgical Procedures: Performing a variety of surgical procedures to correct vision problems and treat eye diseases. Utilizing advanced surgical techniques, including laser surgery. Research and Innovation: Staying updated on the latest advancements in ophthalmology. Participating in research activities to improve eye care. Professional Development: Maintaining detailed medical records for patients. Instructing interns, residents, and other healthcare professionals in ophthalmologic procedures. Requirements Must have an active NY State License Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible Must have 5-10 years of clinical experience in Ophthalmology, with a strong background in both medical and surgical eye care.
