Registered Nurse (RN) | Hospice Location: Leominster, MA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,345 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Hospice Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year Hospice experience License: Current license required Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase EMR and OASIS Description: Provides, coordinates, and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician orders. Care is based on agency policies and procedures through the competent application of the nursing process. Responsible to the Clinical Manager. Directly supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Home visits are required. Periodic office meetings are necessary. Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance. Average number of patients per day is 5-8. Contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day that equate to roughly 6-8 points. Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits. No guaranteed hours provided. In situations of low patient census, it is encouraged to discuss floating to a nearby clinic for additional hours. Weekend requirements vary per location and should be discussed during the interview. Must be open to traveling up to 75 miles from the home clinic. Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase EMR and OASIS is required. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment with the patient. Delayed and incomplete documentation impacting billing and follow-up patient care may result in cancellation. Expectations include accepting every patient on the schedule, regardless of distance from the previous appointment. This position does not guarantee hours. Candidates must hit weekly productivity points of 30, which equate to 40 hours per week. All overtime must be pre-approved. If the caseload is insufficient to meet financial needs, the opportunity to float to another clinic for additional patients is available.
