Location: Hackensack, NJ 07601 Duration: 13 Weeks (Extension
Possible) Schedule: Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Weekend
Requirement: Every 3rd Weekend Compensation: $2,400 – $2,800 Weekly
Gross (Based on Experience) Job Summary: A leading acute care
medical center in Hackensack, NJ is seeking a skilled MRI
Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate
will perform a variety of MRI procedures under the direction of a
qualified physician with a high level of technical accuracy while
delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced radiology
environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform MRI procedures with at
least 99% accuracy and compliance with department standards.
Schedule and manage patient examinations efficiently throughout the
shift. Prepare and administer contrast media accurately; process
images within 30 minutes of exam completion. Translate physician
orders into appropriate imaging protocols with high accuracy.
Maintain patient logs, equipment records, and collaborate with
radiologists to optimize protocols. Assume charge responsibilities
as assigned, including workflow coordination. Prioritize and
complete stat and emergency studies as requested. Maintain a clean,
safe, and organized work environment. Ensure productivity remains
within 20% of the FTE monthly average. Deliver excellent patient
care and maintain high satisfaction standards. Monitor supplies and
inventory; report needs to leadership. Safely transport patients
and troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Assist with
cross-training, coverage, and additional departmental projects.
Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of
Radiologic Technology. Active New Jersey State MRI License –
Required. ARRT (MRI) Certification – Required. Minimum 1 year of
experience as a licensed MRI Technologist. Strong organizational
and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication skills for
