Job Description Towne U.S. LLC is seeking a travel Physical
Therapist for a travel job in Orange, New Jersey. Job Description &
Requirements - Specialty: Physical Therapist - Discipline: Therapy
- Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week -
Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel About the Role The
primary responsibility of the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is
to provide direct physical therapy interventions as planned,
delegated, and supervised by the Physical Therapist. In this role,
the PTA will deliver high-quality rehabilitative care, document
treatments and patient progress, and ensure the highest standard of
care is provided to residents and patients at all times.
Responsibilities - Evaluate, plan, and administer treatment to
residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to
relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing -
Deliver all treatments in accordance with the established plan of
care and under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist -
Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and
caregivers on treatment plans and exercises - Monitor patient
response to treatment interventions and report progress or concerns
to the supervising Physical Therapist - Record treatments provided
and document patient progress in the medical record - Complete all
required forms and documentation in accordance with company
policies and state and federal regulations - Ensure quality,
safety, and compliance in all patient care activities
Qualifications - Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical
Therapist Assistant program (Commission on Accreditation in
Physical Therapy Education) - Certification from the National
Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs, administered by the
Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT) - Active PTA
license in the state of assignment - Strong understanding of human
anatomy and physiology - Effective communication and interpersonal
skills - Ability to follow instructions from a licensed Physical
Therapist - Empathy and patience when working with patients -
Physical stamina to assist patients with movement and therapeutic
exercises - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing
