facilities Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and
compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care
Unit (PICU). The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical
background, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for
providing high-quality care to critically ill children. This role
requires the ability to work collaboratively within a
multidisciplinary team, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our
patients. Key responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care
to pediatric patients in the PICU, including assessment, planning,
implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Administer
medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to
safety protocols and best practices in medication administration.
Monitor and manage patients’ vital signs and clinical status,
promptly identifying any changes that require intervention.
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other
healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized
care plans. Perform airway management procedures and assist with
emergency interventions as necessary. Educate families about their
child’s condition, treatment options, and home care needs
post-discharge. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care
activities in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory
requirements. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and
contribute to a culture of safety within the unit. Required
Qualifications: Min 2 years of PICU experience BLS PALS Application
