Job Description:
This full-time RN leadership role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus
for external applicants, with flexible scheduling and potential
hybrid remote work after orientation. Serves as a team leader,
coach, and clinical resource, ensuring positive, efficient, and
fiscally responsible department operations. Provides direct patient
care across all ages, assesses and plans care to optimize outcomes,
and mobilizes the care team using leadership principles. Supports
staff development through performance evaluations, coaching, and
identifying improvement areas, collaborating with management on
staffing and performance plans. Manages scheduling, resource
allocation, and fiscal aspects, while contributing to quality
initiatives and compliance with standards (e.g., The Joint
Commission, OSHA). Conducts team meetings, fosters effective
communication, promotes a positive work environment, and maintains
regulatory standards. Requires a nursing degree, RN licensure in
Virginia (or eligible), with at least one year of clinical and
leadership experience; BSN preferred. Certifications include CPR,
and possibly ACLS, PALS, NRP, along with EPIC skills and
de-escalation training.
