Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled *Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)/Operating Room Tech *to join our healthcare team at *one of NYC's top healthcare systems* at their location in the *New York, NY. Pay for this role is $50-$60/hour!* The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the operating room, assisting surgeons and ensuring that all surgical procedures run smoothly._Stipends/Travel Packages available for Travel Candidates. Referral bonus of $500 available for candidates referred who work 100 hours or more._*CST/OR Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** Setting up the instruments and equipment that is required for the procedure* Sterilizing equipment and taking an inventory to ensure there are enough supplies for surgery* Preparing the patient for surgery* Passing the Surgeon instruments and sterile supplies throughout the operation* Taking a count of all surgical instruments and supplies prior to the operation* Recounting surgical instruments and supplies at the end of the operation* Maintaining an overall sterile environment throughout the surgery*CST/OR Tech Requirements*:* Certified Surgical Technician in NY State* BLS Certification* 2 years of prior experience as a CST *REQUIRED** Prior *orthopedic *experience *REQUIRED*#INDEEDTHJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hourBenefits:* Referral programMedical Specialty:* Orthopedics* SurgerySchedule:* 10 hour shift* Day shift* Evening shift* Weekends as neededApplication Question(s):* What is the best phone number or email for the employer to contact you?Work Location: In person
