A for profit acute care teaching facility in Connecticut is currently searching for an Experienced Laboratory Team Leader!This acute care facility is home to over 300 beds, and several award winning specialties including Cardiology, Orthopedics, Family Birthing Pavilion and top line Emergency care! This hospital utilizes the latest in technology and evidence-based practices. This facility utilizes a patient first philosophy.The Lab Team Leader responsibilities include coagulation, urinalysis, hematology and chemistry. The Team Lead is accountable for performance results; distributing tasks within the team, scheduling work within the team, developing multiple job skills; responsible for total quality of group products within Core Lab, including both Hematology and Chemistry.The Laboratory Team Leader role will require:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology
• ASCP certification
• 2 years supervisory experience OR 5 years technical experience. -This hospital is located along the beautiful Naugatuck River.
