Job Description: -
- Partners with the Director of IDD Operations and Growth
(Director) to develop, implement and monitor financial and
productivity goals for the departments.
- Collaborate with Director and/or other middle, senior and
executive leaders to develop, implement and monitor contracts with
v endors in his/her respective area of responsibility.
- Partner with Health Applications Analyst for to ensure timely
updates of all electronic health record system s.
- Supervision of Benefits Specialist and Consumer Funds
Specialist Supervisor.
In this position, the Assistant Director of Operations will also
have the following major responsibilities:
- Observe all agency policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with executive, senior middle, and front line
leadership teams and support departments.
- Gather data to improve and implement billing practices and
efficiencies to maximize revenue and monitor and submit to
leadership teams.
- Participate in development and implementation of Key
Performance Indicators for the department.
- Recruitment, hiring for the system and supervision of direct
reports.
- Partner with IDD leadership in the budget process and monitor
expenses.
- Provides on call coverage as assigned.
- Fulfill duties as assigned by the Director, Senior Vice
President of IDD Services and Chief Program Officer.
- Review and track fire safety documents.
- Each month review 10% of residential monthly notes to ensure
PIRN is met and provide corrective action to DSP Supervisors as
necessary.
- Represents agency for all external remote surveys.
Qualifications: -
- Ability to effectively communicate.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, as well as,
organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to function as a member of a multidisciplinary
team.
- Possess sensitivity to the service population's cultural and
socio-economic characteristics.
- Ability to organize and manage competing priorities and
responsibilities efficiently.
- Ability to work independently.
- Computer literacy.
- Must maintain current license/certification/training.
- Possess a valid driver's license, work eligibility status and
have an excellent driving record.
- The ability to work effectively within the guiding vision,
mission, values and behaviors of Access: Supports for Living.
Education:
- Bachelor Degree in Business/Finance with a minimum of five
years of supervisor experience. OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Internal candidate with at least 4 years' experience and
demonstrated capacity for increased responsibility. (Internal
candidates may also be considered based on demonstrated performance
and mastery of electronic health records and OPWDD and OMIG
regulations and guidelines.)
