Ensure that services are of the best quality, are cost contained and are carried out in an expeditious manner. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science, ASCP Certified. NOTE: Consideration will be given to Bachelor of Science Degree, Histotechnologist ASCP Certified or Cytologist, ASCP certified , if management experience is relevant. Minimum of 5 years experience in the management of clinical laboratory in a hospital settingMust have 5 years experience with regulatory and accreditation of laboratory operations to include CLIA, JCAHO and CAP.Capable of comprehending, executing and acting within scope of practice.Ability to determine appropriate course of action in more complex situations.Ability to work independently, exercise creativity and be attentive to detailAbility to handle difficult situations involving patients, physicians, or others in a professional manner.Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling of work. Preferred Qualifications:Two or more years as a Laboratory Administrator or Director.MBA or Management related Masters DegreeExperience with google drive to include docs, sheets, slides and forms.
