Ensure that services are of the best quality, are cost contained and are carried out in an expeditious manner. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science, ASCP Certified. NOTE: Consideration will be given to Bachelor of Science Degree, Histotechnologist ASCP Certified or Cytologist, ASCP certified , if management experience is relevant.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the management of clinical laboratory in a hospital setting
  • Must have 5 years experience with regulatory and accreditation of laboratory operations to include CLIA, JCAHO and CAP.
  • Capable of comprehending, executing and acting within scope of practice.
  • Ability to determine appropriate course of action in more complex situations.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise creativity and be attentive to detail
  • Ability to handle difficult situations involving patients, physicians, or others in a professional manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling of work.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Two or more years as a Laboratory Administrator or Director.
    • MBA or Management related Masters Degree
    • Experience with google drive to include docs, sheets, slides and forms.
