At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.-- Job Overview TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts. As a Senior Manager, Sales you are responsibile for;-- --- Lead Strategic Planning and Selling efforts for TE in relation to the Military Marine industry. Contribute to and implement the Marine Oil & Gas business strategy (organic and inorganic), including customer penetration, new product introduction, market research / intelligence, share gain pursuits, and M&A support
--- Lead the US-based Military Marine Account Team. Implement long term account plans with multi-year opportunity funnels. Maximize penetration in existing accounts while creating in-roads with new customers
--- Collaborate with internal functions (project management, engineering, supply chain, product management, customer service, customer excellence, technical quotes, legal) to increase sales through a business case mentality to maximize financial metrics and customer satisfaction. Ensure Voice of Customer inputs are understood.
--- Drive and manage the orders/business forecasting processes for involved territory. Manage and deploy the business management processes including S&OP & Customer Relationship Management
--- Support market mapping activities to define and describe market segments to enable new customer and market growth strategies. Justify strategies through combination of qualitative and quantitative data-driven approach.
--- Foster multi-level and multi-functional customer relationships
--- Drive performance driven culture and ensure that the team are fully engaged in TE's goals and objectives and working in line with ethical policies
-- --- 10 years+ experience in sales management, business development, and/or product management, preferably in technical / industrial markets.
--- Experience, familiarity with underwater US Naval applications and/or supply chain preferred.
--- Proven success, knowledge and experience of selling, account management, pipeline development, and strategic planning.--
--- Ability to develop strong executive relationships (internally/externally), deliver sales presentations and deal with conflict and challenge.
--- Strong business acumen and analytical skillset
--- Accredited bachelor's degree at minimum. Business administration and/or engineering degree preferred but not a requirement.
