Learn more The Director, Program Management for the Clinical Diagnostics Reagents Business Unit (CDR) is responsible for leading the site PMO and to assist the BU leadership team in accelerating profitable growth of the CDR business through flawless execution of new products and solutions. Reporting to the Sr. Dir. Business Development, the individual in this role will collaborate closely with BU functions within CDR, develop the CDR PMO organization and ensure alignment with PMO best practices across the Clinical Diagnostics Division (CDD). Position Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the CDR PMO team and represent CDR on CDD PMO initiatives
• Lead and facilitate BU leadership team assessment, prioritization and execution of projects that support strategic growth initiatives
• Partner with CDD PMO teams in facilitating best practices and tools applied to assessments and reporting of projects
• Develop and manage approved project budgets including capital and restructuring budgets
• Jointly with CDR Business Unit leadership team, foster a results-oriented project management culture.
• Develop coordinated project reporting on CAPEX projects to both CDR BU leadership team and CDD Operations
• Facilitate and provide the analytics needed to support Business Unit investment decisions
• Maintain project pipeline status in the Project Dashboard reporting
• Develop project plans and execute projects as required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a scientific discipline or engineering, Masters or PhD a plus.
  • 10+ years of health care industry and relevant project management, R&D or marketing leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools. PMP certification preferred.
  • Solutions oriented with a forward-focused mentality; anticipate challenges and develop strategic solutions
  • Experience & demonstrated executive-level reporting and presentations
  • Proven ability to lead multi-site programs or projects cross-functionally and internationally.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, process development, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills with proven ability to motivate & influence others
  • Strong business acumen
  • Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, etc.)
