- The position takes care of the realization of the production
process in order to realize the planned production in terms of
quality and quantity. Follow-up on the shop floor of the correct
execution of procedures, the quality and quantity control of the
batches by the operators and adjusting if necessary.
- Interpreting process diagrams and assisting maintenance /
engineering in solving problems or searching for failure causes.
Solving (standard) technical malfunctions / troubleshooting
yourself and looking for error causes reporting non-standard
malfunctions to the internal maintenance department or an external
maintenance company.
- Manages the department's CAPA processing, validation, process
improvements and establishes the department direction for future
projects. Will address customer complaints by developing short-term
and long-term plans to prevent recurring issues. Reviews and
recommends new or enhanced procedures and/or processes to maximize
efficiency and to continuously improve quality of product
produced.
- Collaborates and trains on new procedures, and addresses
concerns related to instructions. Your Responsibilities

- Works with maintenance management and maintenance technicians
on mechanical downtime issues and problem solving ideas for
equipment
- Analyzes equipment and proposes ideas for improvements that
effect quality, safety, efficiency and performance
- Supports other process project engineers and operations staff
on machine design and equipment reliability improvements
- Supporting continuous improvement activities and
initiatives
- Trains new hires and colleagues as needed Your Profile
- A Bachelor's degree in - Chemical Engineering or other
Engineering discipline
- Knowledgeable about manufacturing workflows and demonstrated
engineering experience
- Exposure to or experience with material molding process
- Strong interpersonal and team-building skills
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Engineering experience of at least 2 years preferred - While
performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently
exposed to elements including environmental heat and high heat from
moving mechanical parts, small parts may be encountered on the
floor, and dust particles may float in the air. Work is done in
both office space and in the plant where safety is a critical
concern. PPE must be worn. Physical Demands The physical demands

those that are present in normal manufacturing environment. The
Production Support Engineer position requires moving about as much
as 80% of the workday in and throughout the plant; and the
occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. This position can require
occasional squatting, stooping, bending or crouching, and frequent
walking up and down stairs. Use of computer involves some
repetitive motion. Business needs require that the employee in this
position work an established 40-hour workweek and on occasion work
