broad range of services to meet the needs of our community. Our
Hoosick Falls Family Resource Center is seeking an Early Head Start
Teacher that will: Nurture and support the development and learning
of children aged 6 weeks to 3 years old through the implementation
of a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Use age-appropriate
and positive guidance strategies to teach, encourage, and redirect
inappropriate classroom behavior Build positive relati onships with
staff and families through positive and professional communication.
Create a welcoming classroom environment Plan and implement a daily
education program for infant and toddler children that integrates
all components of Head Start/Early Head Start Performance
Standards. Work collaboratively with the classroom co-teacher and
all other program staff. Complete all required paperwork including
lesson plans. Observation notes, health logs, child assessments,
etc. Create and maintain a safe and healthy environment ensuring
adequate supervision and compliance with licensing. Candidate
Qualifications: An AAS or bachelor’s degree in early childhood
education or Infant/Toddler CDA (Child Development Associate)
Knowledge of Infant/Toddler child development and family
interaction Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without
the need for Visa Sponsorship Other Benefits Include: Competitive
Hourly Rate Offered>$20/hr with CDA ~$22/hr with associate’s
degree Monday-Friday 730am-3pm (Full year position) Casual Dress
