world. Division/Department Information: Greenberg School of Risk
Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science is one of seven
departments in the Tobin College of Business. The department has 10
full-time faculty members as well as utilizes several adjuncts to
cover courses in the Tobin core at the undergraduate and graduate
level as well as offers degrees in B.S. in Risk Management, B.S. in
Actuarial Science, M.S. in Risk Management and Risk Analytics, M.S.
in Actuarial Science, M.S. in Enterprise Risk Management, and MBA
concentrations of Enterprise Risk Management and Risk Management
and Insurance. Responsibilities: We have teaching needs in Risk
Management Courses at graduate and undergraduate level. Industry
experience is highly preferred along with prior higher education
experience in teaching business courses. Responsibilities include
teaching undergraduate or graduate courses, willingness to teach in
person on campus in Queens or Manhattan and online during the day
hours of 9 to 6 pm for undergraduate courses and evenings for
graduate courses, generally start at 6:00 or 6:40 pm. Candidates
must be available to teach undergraduate courses on a two-day
schedule during days either Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday,
generally. Computer usage and application software familiarity is
desirable and there is an expectation that the new faculty member
will train on the use of Canvas, our university learning
management. Qualifications: Master’s degree and prior teaching
experienced preferred in area or related field. Strong industry
experience is strongly recommended. Application Process: Applicants

Adjunct Associate Professor $9,000 to $10,700 Adjunct Assistant
Professor $7,700 to $9,500 Adjunct Instructor $7,500 to $7,800 In
compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the per course salary
range for this position is $7,500 to 11,000 . St. John’s University
