Job Description Job Description Audit Sr. Audit Senior Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 Location: Latham, NY Position Overview The Audit Senior is responsible for leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing valuable insights to clients. This position requires a deep understanding of auditing principles and practices to effectively manage audit processes and mentor junior staff. Key Responsibilities Lead audit engagements from planning through completion, including performing fieldwork and managing client relationships. Review and evaluate internal controls and compliance procedures to ensure adherence to regulations. Prepare financial statements and audit reports in accordance with GAAP and regulatory standards. Mentor and train junior staff members, providing guidance and support in audit processes. Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders effectively. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance related field. 2 years of experience in auditing, preferably with a public accounting firm. Strong knowledge of auditing standards and regulations. Experience working with Not For Profit organizations and A-133 compliance is a plus.
