Cash Management Implementation Spec 245 Long Hill Rd, Middletown, CT 06457, USA Req 821 Wednesday, May 11, 2022 Join the Hartford Courant/Fox 61 Top Workplace for 9 Years in a Row - 1 in 2017 & 2019 OVERALL OBJECTIVE Reporting to the Cash Management Operations Manager, the Cash Management Implementation Specialist maintains a high level of expertise in the products and services designed for business customers, and serves as a resource to the Cash Management sales staff. Must be proficient in the risks associated with Cash Management products and follow the appropriate policies and procedures to help mitigate losses to the bank. The incumbent provides professional, courteous, and efficient customer service to the Bank---s commercial customers adhering to the Banks Customer Experience guidelines. Provides problem resolution to both internal and external customers in support of customer retention and profitability objectives. Experienced in all Cash Management Support and Service functions, including but not limited to Remote Deposit Capture, Automated Clearing House, Wholesale Lockbox and Online Wire processing. Responsible for timely completion of required training applicable to the position and regular and effective application of such training in the performance of the position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Accurately and efficiently implements high risk Cash Management services for the Banks Small Business and Commercial Customers following the department---s policies, procedures and risk management protocols 2. Provides technical support and training for business customers 3. Responds to business customers inquiries professionally and accurately 4. Perform daily balancing for applicable application 5. Assist with other Cash Management functions including performing annual risk management reviews, preparing BSA reports, balancing general ledger and other special tasks as assigned by Management. 6. Knowledge of NACHA rules and FFIEC guidelines. 7. Coordinate with Cash Management Sales Officers and Sales Analyst with cash management agreements. 8. Assist with yearly audit for RDC and ACH limits and assist with updating of procedures, policies, FDICIA guidelines and risk assessments. 9. RSA token maintenance and activation, lost tokens and customer contact. 10. Assist in other annual projects, system upgrades and system change notification related to cash management and help facilitate duties including customer correspondences tracking, updating customer information systems, manuals and performing other functions to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines. 11. Cross train to provide backup to Cash Management team. 12. Respond to and assist with various methods of customer contact and inquiries. 13. Perform additional duties as requested, needed or assigned. Page 2 MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED Prior cash management and/or equivalent professional experience preferred. Must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, math aptitude and ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and work independently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Knowledge of PC skills including Microsoft Applications such as Word and Excel. NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: 1. Specialized knowledge of cash management services including but not limited to ACH & Electronic Funds transfer; Business online banking, Remote Deposit Capture and general bank operations. 2. Technical knowledge of installing/downloading PC software and navigating through the Internet and ability to problem solve issues as presented. 3. Ability to discuss bank products with customers in a courteous and professional manner. 4. Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage projects as assigned by management. 5. Skill in operating office equipment such as: personal computer and various software, adding machine, and copy machine. 6. Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Excel. Prefer knowledge in using Access and PowerPoint. 7. Ability to analyze complex Cash Management product set ups and trouble shoot any problems which may arise. 8. Advanced knowledge of Federal Regulations such as Reg D, Reg E, BSA, NACHA, CIP, KYC, OFAC, and others relating to ACH and Electronic Funds transfers preferred. 9. Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and procedures. 10. Highly experienced managing multiple tasks. 11. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 1. Associates or Bachelor---s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience. 2. Minimum of five years previous personal or commercial banking and general banking experience.
