employment. Function:Seeking a Cash Application Specialist to join
a national team, but based out of Brea, CA. You will find new and
exciting challenges in the Cash Application Specialist role for
Walters Wholesale Electrical Co, a leading distributor in
electrical products. The major tasks, responsibilities and key
accountabilities:Duties
- Daily posting of payments
- Reconciliation of branch daily deposits
- Research and correct "out of balance" accounts
- Process customer credit card payments
- Adjust accounts according to direction from various credit
departmentsCompetencies
- Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to
multi-task and manage competing priorities
- Ability to deliver on assigned responsibilities with attention
to detail, and use of effective interpersonal and communication
skills
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities, manage deadlines,
and support initiatives in fast-paced environment
- Adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and
skillsRequirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A knowledge of Accounting practices, experience with Microsoft
office
- 1-2 years of prior Cash Management experience preferred
- Ability to work in a highly transactional environment
- Attention to detail
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Strong sense of urgency and able to organize and prioritize;
including handling multiple tasks with strict deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the
ability to engage professionally and succinctly with all levels
across the firm
- Ability to work with a strong sense of accountability,
integrity, and ownership
- Ability to collaborate and contribute in a team environment as
well as independently
- Ability to perform under pressure and be extremely
